Why You Need a Tribe of Badass Babes
Jacksonville Bloggers, North Florida Influencers & Style Collective Meet Up
These Are My People...They're So Fetch
It's October 3rd
We all know it's not actually October 3rd (well, I hope you know that...) but it basically feels like October 3rd since this Jacksonville bloggers meet up took place a hot minute ago. But Hey, that's the life of a traveling Regina George wannabe. I decided to keep you in suspense (suspense sounds better than just telling you about the Wi-Fi hell I've been living in the last month...you try downloading, uploading, resizing and renaming high res images on the equivalent dial-up speed of someone flintstoning the bandwidth behind it soooo...that's my dramatic way of telling you I gave up long ago trying with these gorgeous images) before sharing this amazing recap from our February Style Collective Meet Up and post it in honor of this past weekend's Style Collective Conference. (Blog post on that to come...but don't look for that right now...the work struggle and travel is real these days.)
For those Jacksonville bloggers and babes that missed our event, there are plenty more meet ups to come in the future so keep your inboxes open for those random days I slide into your DMs with weird invites to events to sip cocktails with strangers. (I mean, isn't that everyone's idea of a good time?)
You CAN('t) Sit With Us
Of course I'm working a Mean Girls theme into this...it's what I do!
Yes, we mean it when we say you can sit with us! Here in the Style Collective Tribe we love all bloggers, vloggers, radio babes, media mavens, podcast pretties, wall flowers, hot dogs, Glen Coco and even people that smell like baby prostitutes. I mean it. Our group is supportive, inclusive, inspiring and hilarious. If you live anywhere in the world and blog, write, or produce content of any type and want to be involved with our tribe, leave a comment below and I'll reach out with more information. Or you can click the link to go ahead and join Style Collective below. #WomenSupportingWomen
On Wednesdays We Wear Pink
So thankfully we don't have crazy Mean Girl rules in Style Collective, but we do have tons of fun, amazing resources to offer fellow content creators, and on Wednesday's Annie typically hosts an educational and entertaining IG live at lunch so yes; it's sort of like every Wednesday we wear pink...except this pink is valuable. I've posted about Style Collective so much lately I'm surprised you aren't sick of hearing it, but if you want to join our crew, please do. Click here to join in on the education, support, and excitement that isn't always based in Jacksonville but I promise will always provide you with a supportive community!
We also have a crew of ladies who joined together and started their own squad of content creators, called the North Florida Influencers. If you are North Florida based and want to learn more about content creation and meet all the pretty faces you see on IG, click here to contact Amy West for more info.
She Doesn't Even Go Here
If you missed this Jacksonville bloggers party on the roof because I didn't know you were based in our area, or you just "couldn't go here" because of a scheduling conflict, FOMO no more. I'm giving you the scoop that you won't find anywhere else.
Who: ROLL CALL - I'm going to drop the social links for all the babes in attendance. If I miss anyone, SORRY! You know I'm blonde, this was a month ago, and well sometimes I forget things. Hit me up and I can add you to the list.
Stephanie of The Borrowed Babes (DUH)
Sasha of The Blonde Confetti
Blakeley of Blakeley's Blonde Life
**By the way, the two babes listed below me are THE BEST. They are always DTD, which means "Down to Decorate" (and if that's not a saying it should be...you heard it here first) and make everything we do more fabulous. They helped me organize, plan, decorate and were the life of the party that night. Everyone needs these two in your crew. They make you more put together, more pretty and more blonde. :-) I. LOVE. THEM.**

My Babes from the Marketing Team at the St. Johns Town Center
What: It was Rosé on the Roof, obviously! Although you often see all the ladies listed above at business gatherings, hosting events, assisting local shops with social media marketing, and just being all around hustlers this night was just about supporting one another. (And sipping on wine and shoveling snacks and taking selfies)
Why: Because every Regina needs her Cady and every Karen needs her Gretchen. In other words, if you are one of these creative types it always helps to have someone who understands your crazy.
Where: The River and Post Rooftop! If you have yet to visit this new Jacksonville hotspot, you are missing out! The views, cocktails, and service are all amazing. Click here to see their menu or make reservations, but keep scrolling for some yummy pics of their offerings.
I'm On An All Carb Diet, Karen!
The Burn Book:
Honestly, there is so much I could say about these ladies, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. (HAHA...Y'all thought I might really leave something juicy about some of y'all didn't you? Whew...I might like to talk smack but you know I won't do it here. Wait...I take it back...there is one thing I will say about you all. You. Didn't. Drink. Enough. Wine. We had more than we needed. Never knew that would be an issue with you ladies. Learned something new that night.) We had the incredibly talented Brandon Harrington of Studio Chic photos as our paparazzo for the night and as you normally see on his IG feed, he was nothing short of amazing.
Yes, there are still more photos of you BABES to come! PREP YOUR FEED ACCORDINGLY! Also, it was windy. Just giving you that heads up in case you wonder why we all look like we just walked off the old Twister ride at Universal Studios.
Did you think that was all? Keep scrolling sister...ALSO...yes it was windy. Did we tell you that?
What I Wore
THE MOST AMAZING JUMPSUIT BY REBECCA TAYLOR BORROWED FROM
RENT THE RUNWAY
Click below to shop it! Seriously, it will change your life. I've worn it three times now and am contemplating a fourth wear this week. Which for me is basically the equivalent of winning the gold medal in clothing Olympics. I typically won't wear something this bold that many times, but I love it so much I have.
It is definitely a crop jumpsuit on me but if you were slightly shorter or more petite it would be a full length pant on you. Runs true to size and extremely well made, thick, but not heavy material.

Something Similar but less pricey from Asos | Here
AND JUST TO PROVE THAT I DIDN'T FIB ABOUT YOU ALL NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WINE...
XOXO,
Steph
